Our Story: The C.B. Stands for Chester Benjamin
From your community, for your community. Because who you allow in your home is family.

Chester Benjamin worked at K-25 in Oak Ridge. He was one of the many men and women who helped build what Oak Ridge is known for.
Shelia started taking care of her father, Chester, when she was just 15. To her, he was never a patient. He was her father. That care became her calling, and she went on to spend her whole life in healthcare.
Along the way, she saw something else. Many workers like her father were letting strangers into their homes for care, and too often being treated like a number.
She believed Oak Ridge deserved better from its own. So she started an agency where the nurses would be neighbors and every patient would be cared for the way she cared for her father: like family. She named it for him. The C.B. stands for Chester Benjamin.
It did not start big. It started in small offices, with a few patients and a lot of heart. For 15 years ithas grown one family at a time, by word of mouth and by keeping its promises.
Today, three generations of our family work in the agency, and our care team still lives right here inEast Tennessee. The name on the door is still Chester's.
WHERE WE STARTED
The doors have changed. The promise hasn't.
Before our Clinton office, C.B. Helping Hands began in small storefront offices like these. The doors have changed. The promise hasn't.
